India has risen 18 places since 2015 (from 112th), making it one of the world's fastest-improving major economies alongside China (+14). Finland (1st, 86.8), Sweden (2nd), and Denmark (3rd) top the rankings. Despite the improvement, India still lags behind Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka in South Asia.
