5 August 2026 को Parliament में SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) scheme की progress के बारे में inform किया गया। SVAMITVA April 2020 को PM Modi ने launch की थी — drone-based surveys से rural inhabited (Abadi) land की mapping और Property Cards (e-Property Card / Adhikar Patra) provide करना। Target: 6.62 lakh villages। Property Cards rural property holders को institutional credit के लिए collateral के रूप में use करने में enable करते हैं। Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Panchayati Raj; Survey of India conducts drone surveys।
