About the Recruitment

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has launched a major recruitment drive for 2025-26 under Advertisement No. D-6/E-1/2025. This initiative aims to strengthen the healthcare and public service infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh by filling 2,158 Gazetted positions.

Organization & Department

Recruitment is managed by the UPPSC for various state departments including Medical & Health Services, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy), and Animal Husbandry.

Vacancy Overview

A total of 2,158 seats are distributed across multiple disciplines. Key roles include Medical Officers in Community Health, specialized surgeons, and administrative health officers.

Eligibility Criteria

• Medical Officer (Community Health): Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib + Registration with Board of Indian Medicine (UP).
• Veterinary Officer: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.).
• Dental Surgeon: BDS Degree from a recognized university + Registration with UP Dental Council.
• Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari: Master's Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, or Social Work.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Upper age relaxation is provided as follows:

• SC/ST/OBC of Uttar Pradesh: 5 Years
• Skilled Players of UP: 5 Years
• PwBD Candidates: 15 Years (Upper age limit 55)

Selection Process

1. Screening Test: An objective type written exam to shortlist candidates (if the number of applicants is high).
2. Interview: The final merit list is primarily based on performance in the personal interview.
3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates and OTR details.

• Step 2: After 72 hours of OTR, log in to the recruitment dashboard.
• Step 3: Click on 'Apply' for Advt No. D-6/E-1/2025.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee online (₹105 for Gen/OBC).
• Step 5: Review and submit the form; keep a printout for records.
