Age Limit (Original)
Constable Executive / Driver: 18–25 years। HC Min. / AWO/TPO: 18–27 years। Age cutoff: 01 July 2025। Relaxation: SC/ST 5 yrs, OBC 3 yrs, Ex-SM, Sports Persons, DP Ward sons/daughters — as per notification।
Physical Standards — Male
Height: 170 cm (General/OBC/EWS) | 165 cm (SC/ST/Hill Area/DP Ward sons — 5cm relaxation)। Chest: 81 cm (unexpanded) → 85 cm (expanded), minimum 4 cm expansion। [Hill Area: Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha, North East, J&K (Kashmir/Leh Ladakh)]।
Physical Standards — Female
Height: 157 cm (General/OBC/EWS) | 152 cm (SC/ST/Hill Area — 5cm relaxation)। No chest measurement। Pregnant candidates PET में participate नहीं — result sealed।
Driving License — Constable Driver
Constable (Driver) Male candidates: Valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle OR Car) as on date of PE&MT अनिवार्य। Learner License मान्य नहीं।
Medical Standards
Vision 6/12 (both eyes, without glasses)। No color blindness। Sound health, free from deformity/disease। No disability affecting duty performance। Tattoo rules: Religious symbols allowed (as per Army rules), must be on inner forearm।
Educational Qualification
- Constable (Executive): 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from recognized board। Relaxable to 10+1 for sons/daughters of Delhi Police personnel, bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders।
- Constable (Driver) Male: 10+2 from recognized board + Valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle/Car) at time of PE&MT — Learner License not acceptable।
- Head Constable (Ministerial): 10+2 from recognized board।
- Head Constable (AWO/TPO): 10+2 with Science & Mathematics OR NTC in Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System।
