About This Notification
The Indian Navy has invited applications for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the January 2027 Course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.
Under this scheme, selected candidates undergo a 4-year B.Tech programme at INA Ezhimala affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). On successful completion, they are commissioned as Permanent Commission Officers in the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy.
Selection is based on JEE (Main) 2026 score, followed by SSB Interview and Medical examination. This is one of the few routes to join Indian Navy with a full B.Tech degree from the prestigious Naval Academy.

Step 1: Check JEE Main Score
Your JEE (Main) 2026 Paper 1 score is used for shortlisting. Ensure you appeared for JEE Main 2026 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths.
Step 2: Apply by 18 June 2026
Register at joinindiannavy.gov.in, fill the 10+2 Cadet Entry form, upload JEE Main 2026 application number and Class 12 PCM marks.
Step 3: Wait for SSB Call Letter
Shortlisted candidates receive SSB interview call via email/SMS. SSB will be held at one of four SSB Boards: Bangalore, Bhopal, Coimbatore, or Visakhapatnam.
Step 4: Prepare for SSB
5-day SSB includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture Perception, Psychology Tests, Group Tasks (GTO), and Personal Interview. It assesses your Officer Like Qualities (OLQs).
Step 5: Medical Examination
Candidates recommended by SSB undergo detailed medical. Vision standard: 6/12 (correctable to 6/6), no colour blindness.
