Step 1: Check Eligibility
Confirm you are male, aged 18–25, 12th pass, and hold a Motor Mechanic certificate with 3 years' experience or a 3-year Automobile Engineering diploma.
Step 2: Register on the ITBP Portal
Go to recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in, create your profile with a valid mobile number and email ID, and select Head Constable (Motor Mechanic).
Step 3: Fill the Form and Upload Documents
Enter personal, category, educational and technical details, then upload your photograph, signature and certificates.
Step 4: Pay the Fee and Submit by 27 October
General/OBC/EWS candidates pay ₹100 online; SC/ST and ex-servicemen are exempt. Submit and save a printout of the form.
Step 5: Prepare for PET and Trade Test
Start physical training for the PET/PST and revise practical motor mechanic skills for the trade test.
