Only domicile holders of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply. As per the official notification, online applications will be accepted from 27 July 2026 to 25 August 2026, which is also the eligibility cut-off date.
Who can apply for JKSSB Warder 2026?
Only candidates holding a valid Domicile Certificate of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir can apply. The certificate must be valid on or before the cut-off date of 25 August 2026. Candidates must also meet the age and qualification criteria specified for their category, and produce original documents at the time of Document Verification.
Reservation and Ex-Servicemen benefits
Reservation follows the category-wise break-up conveyed by the Home Department and the J&K Reservation Act/Rules. Horizontal Reservation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) is applicable as per extant rules for posts up to Pay Level-6E. ESM candidates must submit a Form-XIV certificate as per Rule 18 of the J&K Reservation Rules, 2005, and an affidavit if they have previously availed this benefit.
