Educational Qualification
- Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1-5): 10+2 with min. 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (or equivalent per notified combinations), plus pass in JTET for Class 1-5. Jharkhand residents who cleared CTET (Class 1-5) or a neighbouring state's TET are also eligible, subject to clearing JTET within 3 years of appointment.
- Graduate TAT — Science & Mathematics (Class 6-8): Min. 3-year Graduation in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture/Mathematics with 10+2 having at least 2 subjects among Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, plus B.Ed/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
- Graduate TAT — Social Science (Class 6-8): Min. 3-year Graduation in Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management, plus B.Ed/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
- Graduate TAT — Language (Class 6-8): Min. 3-year Graduation/Honours in a notified language (Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Bangla, Mundari, Ho, Khadia, Kurukh, Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Odia, or Sanskrit), plus B.Ed (Special Education)/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
- 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/EBC-I/BC-II/PwD candidates; 7% relaxation for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG)
