About This Notification
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the Mains Application Form for State Service Examination (SSE) 2025 under Advertisement No. 01/Mains Exam/2025. This is the second stage of the three-stage MPPSC SSE recruitment cycle — only candidates who successfully qualified the Preliminary Examination held on 16 February 2025 are eligible to fill this form.
A total of 158 vacancies are available across prestigious Group A and Group B positions in the Madhya Pradesh state administration, including:
- Deputy Collector (State Civil Service)
- Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) (State Police Service)
- Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM)
- State Accounts Service Officer
- Commercial Tax Officer

The Mains application window is open from 25 June 2026 to 15 July 2026. A correction window is available from 30 June to 17 July 2026. The Mains written examination is scheduled for 17–22 August 2026, with admit cards released on 10 August 2026. Final selection is based on Mains + Interview/Personality Test marks combined. The Prelims score is only qualifying and does not count in the final merit.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Indian Citizen. Male applicants with more than one living wife are ineligible. Female applicants who are in a relationship with a married man (with a living wife) are ineligible.
Prelims Qualification (Mandatory)
Must have qualified MPPSC Preliminary Examination 2025 (held 16 February 2025). The system will not allow registration if your roll number does not appear in the declared prelims result list. Prelims marks do NOT count in final merit — prelims is only qualifying.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university (as per original SSE 2025 notification). Final-year students who have since completed graduation are eligible.
Age Limit
21 to 40 years (general posts); 21 to 33 years for Uniformed posts (DSP, Naib Tehsildar etc.). Age relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women as per MP Government rules. Only one relaxation benefit is permissible per candidate.
Domicile / Residency
Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply but will be treated as Unreserved (General) category and must pay the full fee of ₹800 + ₹40. Reservation benefits (lower fee, reserved posts, age relaxation) apply only to bonafide Madhya Pradesh domicile holders.
Educational Qualification
- For Mains application: Candidate must have qualified the MPPSC Preliminary Examination 2025 (held 16 February 2025). Prelims roll number must appear in the officially declared result list.
- Educational Qualification (original notification): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year graduation students who have since completed their degree are also eligible.
- Nationality: Indian citizen. Male candidates with more than one living wife and female candidates married to a man with a living wife are ineligible.
Age Limit
General Category: 21–40 years
- OBC (MP domicile): Up to 5 years relaxation
- SC / ST (MP domicile): Up to 5 years relaxation
- PwBD: As per MP Government rules
- Ex-Servicemen: As per MP Government rules
- Women (MP domicile, certain posts): Additional relaxation as applicable
- Uniformed posts (DSP, Naib Tehsildar etc.): Upper age limit is 33 years for UR category (not 40 years)
Candidates eligible for relaxation under more than one category may avail only one relaxation — whichever is most beneficial. Age reference date is as per the original SSE 2025 notification.
