Eligibility Criteria
Nationality Requirements
Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling.
Age Limits (As per target posts)
18-25 years for designated MTS and specific Havaldar posts in CBN; 18-27 years for selective MTS designations and Havaldar posts in CBIC.
PET Standards (Havaldar Only)
Male: Walking 1600 meters within a duration of 15 minutes. Female: Walking 1 kilometer within a duration of 20 minutes.
PST Standards (Havaldar Only)
Male Height: 157.5 cm (relaxable by 5 cm for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas). Chest: 81 cm fully expanded with 5 cm minimum expansion. Female Height: 152 cm (relaxable by 2.5 cm). Weight: 48 kg (relaxable by 2 kg).
Educational Qualification
- Educational Standard: Must have passed the Matriculation Examination (10th Class) or a designated equivalent structural course from a recognized Board or university prior to the specified institutional cutoff date.

- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years upper age relaxation
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years upper age relaxation
