About NABARD
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is an apex regulatory body for the overall regulation and licensing of regional rural banks and cooperative banks in India. It was established on 12 July 1982 by an act of Parliament. NABARD is responsible for providing and regulating credit and other facilities for the promotion and development of agriculture, small scale industries, cottage and village industries, handicrafts and other allied economic activities in rural areas. NABARD Grade A and Grade B recruitment is conducted annually.
