About RBI
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is India's central bank and regulatory body responsible for regulation of the Indian banking system. It is under the ownership of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. RBI was established on 1 April 1935 in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. Presently, the Central Office of the Reserve Bank is located in Mumbai. RBI conducts its own recruitment examination for Grade B (Officer) and Grade C posts. The RBI Grade B examination is considered one of the most prestigious financial sector exams.
