📋 Eligibility & Info / पात्रता एवं जानकारी

  • Age Limit / आयु सीमा: 21 to 30 years (as on 30/04/2025); category‑wise relaxations apply (SC/ST +5 yrs; OBC +3 yrs; PwBD up to 15 yrs)
  • Eligibility / योग्यता: Graduation in any discipline + minimum 2 years officer‑level experience in Scheduled Commercial Bank/Regional Rural Bank + knowledge of local language of the circle + for NE Circle candidates (Arunachal Pradesh/Nagaland), English as subject in Class 10/12.
  • Application Fee / आवेदन शुल्क: ₹750 (General/OBC/EWS), no fee for SC/ST/PwBD; +₹50 transaction charges
  • Pay Scale / वेतनमान: Basic ₹48,480 (JMGS‑I) + 2 advance increments + DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, medical and other allowances

📝 Description / विवरण

State Bank of India (SBI) has reopened the online registration for 2,964 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts under Advertisement No. CRPD/CBO/2025‑26/03. The window is open from 21 June to 30 June 2025. This includes 2,600 regular posts and 364 backlog posts across various SBI circles nationwide.

Candidates must hold a graduation degree and have at least two years of officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank. For the North East Circle, candidates from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland with English studied in Class 10 or 12 are now eligible. The recruitment process involves an online examination, interview, and local language test.

✅ Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया

Selection Process:

  1. Online Examination:
    Duration ~2 hours. Includes Objective Test (120 questions) covering English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness/Economy, Computer Aptitude, plus Descriptive Test (Letter Writing & Essay). Marks weightage: 75%.
  2. Interview & Document Screening:
    Candidates who qualify the online test will be called for Interview (weightage 25%) along with verification of eligibility and experience certificates.
  3. Local Language Test:
    Mandatory unless already studied the circle's local language in Class 10/12 or by experience.
  4. Final Merit List:
    Based on combined scores of Online Test (75%) and Interview (25%).

The final selected candidates will join at JMGS‑I grade with basic salary ₹48,480 plus allowances.
