Step 2: Complete Aadhaar Verification Before CBT 2
RRB has introduced Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at CBT 2 centres this cycle. Verify your Aadhaar at rrbapply.gov.in if not already done, and make sure it's unlocked in UIDAI's records before exam day.
Step 3: Download City Slip (Already Out) & Admit Card (Expected 6 July)

Step 4: Prepare for CBT 2 (10 July 2026)
CBT 2 is more specialized than CBT 1 and its marks count directly toward your final merit — focus on Current Affairs, Railway-specific GK, and higher-level Maths/Reasoning. Negative marking remains 1/3.
Step 5: Aptitude Test / Typing (Post-CBT 2)
Station Master candidates need the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). CTC and similar typing posts need the Typing Skill Test (25 WPM English / 30 WPM Hindi).
Step 6: Document Verification

Shortlisting for CBT 2 was done on normalized scores, with 88,037 candidates declared qualified — this is now the figure most consistently repeated across independent sources (a small number cite 87,337, a minor unresolved discrepancy worth noting but not treating as a major correction).
