About RRB
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are agencies of the Indian Railways responsible for recruiting staff in non-gazetted posts for the Ministry of Railways. There are 21 RRBs spread across India, each functioning under the jurisdiction of a Railway zone. The boards conduct examinations for a wide range of posts from Group C and Group D categories. Indian Railways is the world's fourth-largest railway network and one of the biggest employers in India. RRB exams receive over a crore (10 million) applications making them among the most applied examinations in the world.
