Free PDF tools for exam forms & documents
Merge multiple certificates/marksheets into one PDF, convert scanned photos or documents to PDF, extract PDF pages as JPG images, or shrink a large PDF down to a smaller file size for online exam form uploads — all four in one place, with nothing ever uploaded to a server.
Which PDF tool do I need?
| Tool | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Merge PDF | The form accepts one file but you have several certificates or marksheets. |
| Image → PDF | You photographed a document on your phone and the portal only accepts PDF. |
| PDF → JPG | The portal only accepts images, or you need one page of a PDF as a picture. |
| Compress PDF | Your PDF is over the portal's upload size limit. |
Documents commonly asked for in exam and DV uploads
- 10th and 12th marksheets / certificates (for date of birth and qualification).
- Graduation degree or provisional certificate.
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) and EWS certificate in the prescribed format.
- Domicile certificate for state recruitments.
- PwBD or Ex-Servicemen certificates, if you are claiming those benefits.
A good habit is to keep a single merged PDF of all certificates on your phone — it saves time at every stage, from the online form to document verification.
Tips for clean, readable scans
- Photograph documents flat, in daylight, with no shadow across the text.
- Crop out the table or background before converting to PDF.
- Compress only as much as needed — if text becomes blurry, the document may be rejected at verification.
