Increase or reduce photo & signature size in KB
Pick a preset for SSC, Railway, Banking, MP Patwari or Police — or type the width, height and the KB range from your notification. If your file is too small (for example a 13 KB signature when the form needs 20–50 KB), the tool increases it to the asked size; if it is too big, it compresses it below the maximum. The picture and the pixel size stay exactly as you set them.
How to increase image size in KB
- Upload the image from your phone or computer.
- Type the minimum and maximum KB your form allows (and the width × height if it asks for one).
- Press “Make it ready” — you see the old size, the new size and a ✓ if it is inside the range.
- Download and upload it on the form.
Why the form rejects a small file
Most exam portals check two things: the file size in KB and the width × height in pixels. A signature scanned on a phone, or a photo saved by WhatsApp, is often only 5–15 KB. If the form asks for 10–20 KB or 20–50 KB, it is rejected even though it looks fine.
Saving it again at a higher quality rarely helps: a plain signature on white paper has very little detail, so even the best quality JPEG stays small. That's why most “resize” tools give you back the same 13 KB file.
How this tool makes the file bigger
It first saves the image at the best quality that fits under your maximum. If the file is still below the minimum, it adds empty filler data inside the JPEG until it reaches the size you asked for. The picture, colours and pixel size don't change, and the file opens normally everywhere. Portals only read the size and dimensions, so it is accepted.
